This is a pretty decent bag. Great value overall. couple of small items that i just couldn't give 5 stars.
First the positives. Overall great value for what you get. The bag has a nice aesthetic design overall. The looks is good (i would love a non-logo'd version). I like the full side zipper for the main compartment. it allows me to really easily get this bag packed and un-packed. The laptop compartment separate from the main is nice. one of the main reasons i went with this bag. The side water bottle zipper is nice (could not get a water bottle in when bag is fully packed). Zippers and clips are metal and seem durable - time will tell.
Next the negatives. The material weight is a lighter than i expected. I am worried that this will not hold up 5+ years as my previous bag did. This also makes the overall structure of the non-packed bag fairly floppy. the laptop compartment zipper slides under the shoulder straps, this makes access to the laptop a little difficult. if you have a larger laptop, this might be annoying for you. the small side zipper pocket can really only hold something extremely slim without digging into your back (maybe a passport). was really hoping this could be used for keys or airpod easy access, but it does not work that way for me. the water bottle zipper can only be used when bag is not fully packed.
